FREE BETA NOTICE: This service is currently in free beta testing. By using this tool, you agree to provide feedback to help improve the product. This beta period ends on March 15, 2026, after which the service may transition to a paid model.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using StoryLine VA ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
StoryLine VA is a writing assistance tool that helps veterans draft personal statements for VA disability claims. The Service uses artificial intelligence to help organize and articulate claim information in a format suitable for VA Form 21-4138 submissions.
The Service DOES:
- Provide writing assistance and structure for personal statements
- Help organize claim information into VA-compliant format
- Suggest evidence types that may strengthen claims
- Generate draft statements based on user-provided information
The Service DOES NOT:
- Provide legal advice or legal representation
- Provide medical diagnoses or medical advice
- Guarantee VA claim approval or any specific outcome
- File claims on your behalf
- Replace consultation with a VSO (Veterans Service Officer) or attorney
- Create, store, or submit any documents to the VA
3. User Responsibilities
You understand and agree that:
- You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide
- You must review and verify all generated content before using it
- You are solely responsible for any statements submitted to the VA
- You should consult with a qualified VSO or attorney for legal guidance
- You will not use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal purpose
- You will not attempt to manipulate or exploit the Service
4. No Guarantees or Warranties
IMPORTANT: The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding:
- The accuracy or completeness of generated statements
- The approval of any VA disability claim
- The suitability of the Service for any particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
DISCLAIMER: VA claim outcomes depend on many factors including medical evidence, service records, and VA examiner determinations. This Service cannot predict or guarantee claim approval. Results vary by individual case.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryLine VA and its operators shall not be liable for:
- Denial or unfavorable decisions on VA claims
- Any damages arising from use of the Service
- Errors or inaccuracies in generated content
- Service interruptions or technical failures
- Loss of data or information
6. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the information you provide to the Service. The statements generated by the Service are provided to you for your use. The underlying software, design, and methodology of StoryLine VA remain the property of the Service operators.
7. Privacy and Data Usage
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to our data handling practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Beta Testing Terms
During the beta period (ending March 15, 2026):
- The Service is provided free of charge
- Features may change or be removed without notice
- You agree to provide feedback when requested
- The Service may be discontinued at any time
- No refunds are applicable (as the Service is currently free)
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Submit false or fraudulent claims to the VA
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Harm, harass, or impersonate others
- Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the Service
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without authorization
- Interfere with the Service's operation or security
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service interface.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which the Service operator resides, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
